After the Case
If you had a trial about a traffic case, at the end of the trial the judge will make a decision about whether you were guilty or not.
- If the judge decides you were not guilty, the court will return your bail and the case will not go on your driving record.
- If the judge decides you were guilty, he or she will decide what will happen next.
If you were found guilty of an infraction, you may still ask the judge for permission to attend traffic violator school.
NOTE: If you were found guilty of a misdemeanor or a felony, you may have to go to jail.
